Becoming a Crystallographer

This is the blog of a future crystallographer, not that crystallography is the main area of discussion. I'll maybe mention it once in a while, while writing about my life and other things.

I'm back

Had a fun trip I have to say. Saw way too many things to tell people about in one day. Can't even remember all of it without having to dig deep in my head. Now it's one week of Finland and off to Germany. I now know when my flight is going to be and that I'll get picked up from the airport. So no problems. Things should work on from there on. Things always do.

The unlucky thing is that I had to come back just before the big Juhannus(mid-summer) -celebration. Haven't celebrated it in like 6 years (been at work) so I haven't got the slightest idea on what to do. Well I have some options but nothing special. I'll just go to Jyväskylä and see where that takes me. Should include good food, nice people and some alcohol and I'm sure it'll be fun.

The best part about being back in Finland is not having to be sweaty all the time. I would have gladly continued on the trip had I had my own personal airconditioner. Oh and I do admit having unlimited free internet right now is second on the list of great things about coming back. Oh and my sister and her boyfriend have taken good care of my fish. (Thank you) I did miss them a bit (the fish, oh and maybe the caretakers too ;)). All 200 or so look to be alive and well.

But that's it for now. Lots to do. Things to decide.

u seem to have grasped the Juhannus concept quite well - taken into the account of 6 years without one ;)

our Juhannus was a relaxing one, staying and laying at home doing absolutely nothing (except maybe enjoying a cold cider or two on my newly created TERASSI - iiihan itte rakensin!)

Good luck & have fun in Germany lil'sis - although I think u can very well handle anything that comes your way... ;)
