Becoming a Crystallographer

This is the blog of a future crystallographer, not that crystallography is the main area of discussion. I'll maybe mention it once in a while, while writing about my life and other things.

That familiar shattering sound

And again I broke something in the lab. This time it was a mercury thermometer. I don't know how expensive those are. It just fell out of this basket I keep my stuff in while taking it back to my locker. I mean really. I must have like a "brain tumor" or something. I'm feeling really silly. I didn't even have the guts to tell the lab master what I broke yesterday since then I'd have had two things broken. Maybe I'll get a new separator when I need it. Hopefully it will be after easter. Well, at least I got enough product again.

as long as it's not a "hioksellinen lämpömittari" you shoudl get away with it for under 60 e which is what Kristina once paid for a "hioksellinen lämpömittari"...

Yeah well I was thankful that it wasn't one of those... That was actually the first thing I checked since one of those was also in the basket.
