Title
Something has caught my attention while I've been working here at the biggest chemical company in the world (oh yeah). There are lots of couples wandering around the area holding hands. Old and young. It seems weird somehow. Not that I've been working in lots of places this big before, but I've not seen couples holding hands during work hours in Finland unless they've been teenagers. It just seems that it's not acceptable in Finland to be "showing feeling during work hours". Or maybe it's just me. *Couple passing, me speaking under my breath "can't that wait till you get past the gate".* (Oh, or maybe I'm just jealous I hear you saying. Maybe. A cute guy did just pass me in the hallway. Wouldn't mind holding hands with him, though I think he's too tall.) Maybe there's just lots of couples working here and half of them have lunch at the same time as me.
Local forecast for today: Slight chance of rain or thunder later on in the day or in five minutes. Most likely light or heavy showers just when I have to go somewhere. (Oh it just started raining. Let's change "slight chance of" into "certain". It rains every day. I'm really getting bored of it. It's even harming my social life if I can even say I have one here.)
I should get going home. Gotta do my dishes before the landlord comes by to sign my new contract. Have to go buy some bread too.

Yeah. Where I work is a really big company and I guess there are a lot of couples there, but no, I have never seen anyone walk hand-in-hand during the day. Of course I have trouble even kissing Jaakko at school so I totally think those things should be left to one's free time. You know. "Get a room!"
It finally started raining here. Looks like autumn. The nicest sunset ever today.
I hope it stops raining on you. You have to wear more green clothes to control the weather and nature. Or then you just have to wait for my visit for the sunshine. ;) No. I'll try to order you some sun.
Take care!

It's raining here as well. Terrible weather. But this is Ireland so I guess no surprises there... You have to come here to enjoy the sun. At least we have plenty of pubs and I'd say you could find a certain sister a very voluntary dancing buddy...

Hmm. never in my professional life have I seen a couple holding hands at work. So ye, I agree with u there. But don't I see anything wrong with it just as long it's just showing affection.
And rain, I like rain. Cooling, relaxing and refreshing. And good for the lawn too which is starting to look green again. However I do hope we get snow soon... So much more fun...
Good news on the ferry front too, more ships coming to do traffic between finland and germany. Prices are expected to go down during next few months... Would make the trip more fun if we came with a car ;)
