Big party a'coming
My week has been way busy. I'be been up doing things till like ten pm like every night and still I haven't had time to do the dishes (and there's loads since I've been baking) or clean my aquariums (poor little fishes and froggies). Today I'm planning on doing the dishes so that I can continue with the baking tomorrow. I should also clean my appartment before Saturday (the day of the party in case you don't know) because there's people coming over to sleep at my appartment. And it's a mess. But what can one do? I was climbing on Tuesday and I'm going today too but that's just more important than cleaning now isn't it. Today I also have a meeting of the residents' assosiation thing that I'm the secretary of. Busy, busy.
Yesterday was the big shopping day. I bought (hopefully) everything I need for the party like food and drink and plates and stuff. There should be enough for people to drink at least. Also enough alcohol for everyone to get drunk. I was calculating that if around 30 people show up then at lest I should have way too much to drink if I drink one thirtieth of what I have. Of course I calculated this last night after all the shopping while I was almost falling asleep while having tea so it might not be correctly calculated. But I have like 36 liters of non-alcoholics of which like 21 are for the punch and the rest in case that runs out and there's need to make more and of course for the people who're not having punch. Carrying that from the store yesterday was quite a job. Luckily I had a car at my disposal and a very nice boy from next door. :) Dragging all the stuff I bought from the car to my appartment seemed like I was moving or something. And now there's this big pile of stuff on the floor of my appartment waiting to be moved on to the party.
But even though I've been busy with planning for the party and there's been loads to figure out and things to think about, it's not been stressful or anything. I mean it is a party and it is supposed to be fun so why should one stress about getting things done. As long as a bunch of my friends and family show up aiming to have a good time, it will be fun. At least as long as no-one is too hungry.
