What I'll do tonight

Inspired by pastorik's profile saying he likes Cake (the band) I decided to listen to the album I had bought while on exchange in the States a few years ago. I bought the album (Cake, Fashion Nugget) because a friend of mine said it was good. I did listen to it lots while there, having only like 3 cds, but I guess I listened to my Goo Goo Dolls album more. The point being that I didn't really remember what it was like and I couldn't remember liking the band all that much. Well now, having listened to the album for the past couple of weeks, I just love the singer's voice and attitude while singing. I looked the band up on the internet yesterday and it turns out the singer also has some opinions in common with me concerning the environment and such. Pictures also gave the guy a face although he was wearing sunglasses and a hat in all the pictures. I also like Cake.

So today I'm going to go buy another album by the band. I sure hope they have some on this side of the river since being kind of sick I'm not going to go across the river. I thought I'd also buy another book. I've finished the fantasy trilogy I've been reading since Maria sent the books to me and being sick and not being able to do lots (like going to the skating thing yesterday which really annoys me having waited all last week for it) I have to buy more books to read. I also have this book in German (Stephen King, Colorado Kid borrowed from my boss) but not having a dictionary it is kind of troublesome to read. (Maybe I should also get a dictionary. One of my friends was really suprised I didn't have one. Maybe it is kind of stupid not having one.) Yesterday I read the first chapter and I think I got most of the text but I might have missed the mood or something. I'm afraid I'll read the whole book (it's really short) and end up missing the whole story and missing the mood in a Stephen King book might be kind of tragic. (Oh, I've never read any of his books before.)

So tonight or once I leave work in a few minutes I'm going to go shopping and then most likely eat noodles and listen to music and read a book. Sounds like fun, eh?

Oh, my big brother sings in a punkrock band. :D That is so cool.
